Zdeněk Bajar is a lawyer registered with the Czech Bar Association
Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, International Business Faculty at the University in Jönköping (Sweden)
Zdeněk embarked on his legal practice in 2004 at the Czech law firm PETERKA & PARTNERS. From March 2007, Zdeněk worked in the Prague office of the leading American law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
In spring 2012, Zdeněk returned to PETERKA & PARTNERS, where he was appointed as the partner in charge of the Moscow branch as well as the newly established Belarusian branch.
In February 2015, Zdeněk decided to set up his own law practice.
Apart from providing legal services, in the period March 2015 – September 2015 Zdeněk also worked as temporary manager of a smaller timber company owned by Czech investors located in the Belarusian city of Baranovichi.
Focus of legal practice
His current law practice is primarily focused on representing clients at the courts (including international disputes), implementing major construction projects (including legal advice on building, expropriation and environmental legislation), as well as consulting in the field of public procurement, acquisitions, export transactions directed primarily to the CIS countries (including consultations for banks and exporters regarding financing issues), and the management of comprehensive consulting concerning projects and investments abroad, especially in the CIS countries.
In VAZBA Zdeněk, among other things, consults Russian-speaking clients in the Czech Republic.
In September 2014, the Belarusian journal “Revue Business” included Zdeněk in the Top 50 foreign managers working in Belarus.
