The Russia’s Central Bank (RCB) will provide 42,7 billion rubles to the bank FK Otkrytie through the purchase of shares additionally issued by the credit institution, according to the RCB press release. The regulator further approved changes in the plan of participation in the implementation of measures aimed to prevent the bankruptcy of Otkrytie bank. The RCB emphasized, that the adopted decisions are aimed at provision of financial assistance to NPF LUKoil-guarantor, NPF of the electric power industry and NPF RGS for the total amount of 31,8 billion rubles. In addition, 2 billion rubles will be allocated to assist Rosgosstrakh bank.
